Windows Server 2003 Standard Bootable Iso On Usb

Автор:

Hello: I am new to Infrastructure. I just received 6 DL380 G4 systems (end-of-life for corporations is not end-of-life for my small company).

I need to create a diskless bootable USB drive to initialize the systems. I'd like to start with Windows Server 2003 and work my way up to 2008 using my MSDN. I have researched this as best I can and I still can't figure out how to get it done. Anyone have step-by-step instructions for Infrastructure Dummies. Here is what I have done. 1) I have used Diskpart to format a 16GB USB Drive using my laptop computer. Which is running Windows 7.

2) I downloaded the Windows Server 2003 64-bit SP2 ISO to my laptop. 3) I extracted the Windows Server 2003 64-bit SP2 ISO to a directorry on my laptop. 4) I copied the extracted Windows Server 2003 64-bit SP2 ISO to the USB Drive. 5) I placed the USB Drive in the Server and turned it on. Dlya It recognized the USB drive as C: but did not boot from it. I don't think the Extracted ISO is bootable. What can/should I do?

Bootable

How do I create a bootable Server 2003 CD This is a valid licensed product. However, the downloadable files from Microsoft contain the server o/s files, but not in an ISO format, therefore not able to create a bootable cd. 3) I extracted the Windows Server 2003 64-bit SP2 ISO to a directorry on my laptop. 4) I copied the extracted Windows Server 2003 64-bit SP2 ISO to the USB Drive. 5) I placed the USB Drive in the Server and turned it on.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Dear all, One of our customer has purchased a IBM server with 2008 Standard 32 bit ROK (Reseller Option Kit) but they want to downgrade it to 2003 Standard 32 bit. I arranged a media and installed 2003 server but at the time of activation when I provided the installation ID to Microsoft they said the installation was not carried out by a valid media or the installation ID is not valid. Can anyone please tell me how can I download the bootable iso file of 2003 server standard edition (32 bit) to install a authentic 2003 server standard 32 bit operating system? Thanks, Subhankar Bhattacharjee.
